Features of staffing are :

(i) Staffing is associated with selecting human resources in quantity and in terms of job requirements (quality).

(ii) As an organisation aims to sustain in the long-run, staffing also continuously focuses on retaining human resources in the long-run.

(iii) Staffing is a separate function, it is carried out by superiors/managers across all departments with specialised demands and manages the flow of human resources across these departments.
