i. These are homogeneous mixture of two or more components in which the constituents are not visible to the naked eye.

i. These are the heterogeneous mixtures whose particles do not settle down if left undisturbed.

ii. Particle size of a solution is smaller than 1 nm.

ii. Particles of colloids are smaller than those of a suspension but larger than a solution. Hence are in the size range of 1-1000 nm.
iii. When a beam of light passes through a solution, the path of light is not visible in it. They dont exhibit Tyndall effect. iii. Colloids also show the Tyndall effect.
