Following things come to our mind:
(a) A ragpicker.
(i) Poor person working due to poverty.
(ii) He removes and cleans up the garbage generated by others.
(iii) He is exposing himself to harmful substances, generated due to toxic waste.
(b) A cow eating a polythene bag.
(i) Cow is getting exposed to hazardous materials, due to our thoughtless use of polythene bags.
(ii) There may be a possibility of polythene choking the animal to death.
(iii) Polythene bags being non-biodegradable will accumulate in the cow's intestines and will cause intense stomach pain and digestion problems to it.
(c) Foul odour emanating from garbage at the entrance of our house.
(i) Community members have disposed off waste indiscriminately, that too in large quantities.
(ii) The waste has begun decomposing, encouraging flies and street animals to come and feast on it.
(iii) Dogs are fighting over the food and scattering the waste even more all around making the surroundings filthy.
