Uses:

2. Bacteria act as a decomposer and degrade the harmful substance to a simpler form.
3. Bacteria is used in making medicines and vaccines.

Disadvantages:

1. They are harmful in causing communicable diseases like cholera, typhoid, tuberculosis etc.
2. Bacteria may cause food poisoning etc.
3. Bacteria may also cause diseases in plants.
