Solution

The correct option is A False
Gonadotropins

Gonadotropins are hormones secreted by the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland that have an effect on the gonads. Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinising hormone (LH) are gonadotropic hormones.

Role of FSH and LH

FSH stimulates the formation of the Graafian follicle that secretes oestrogen in females and in males it helps in sperm production. LH stimulates testosterone production from the testis in males and oestrogen and progesterone secretion from the ovaries in females.
