Virtual image Real image
An image formed when light rays appear to meet at a particular point. An image formed when the light rays actually converge at a particular point.
As it is an imaginary intersection of light rays, it cannot be captured on a screen. As it is a result of the actual intersection of light rays, it can be captured on a screen.
Virtual images are erect. Real images are inverted
