Question

Write two different vectors having same magnitude.

Open in App
Solution

Assume, two different vectors are a =1 i ^ +2 j ^ +1 k ^ and b =2 i ^ +1 j ^ +1 k ^ .

Magnitude of a is,

| a |= 1 2 + 2 2 + 1 2 = 6

Magnitude of b is,

| b |= 2 2 + 1 2 + 1 2 = 4+1+1 = 6

Magnitudes of a and b are equal.

Thus, two different vectors having same magnitude are a =1 i ^ +2 j ^ +1 k ^ and b =2 i ^ +1 j ^ +1 k ^ .
