Write two functions of two upper chambers of human heart?

Solution
The human heart consists of four chambers. The upper chamber is called an atrium (or auricle), and the lower chamber is called a ventricle.
The right atrium receives deoxygenated blood from the other body organs and pumps it into the right ventricle. This is then sent toward the lungs for oxygenation.
The oxygenated blood in the lungs is then received by the left atrium and pumped into the left ventricle.
Finally, the oxygenated blood from the left ventricle is pumped back to the body.
So, receiving blood and pumping it into the ventricles are the two functions of the upper chambers of the heart.
