Solution

  • Testis contains numerous Sertoli cells. These form seminiferous tubules. These tubules perform the function of producing sperms, maintaining and storing them.
  • Located near the Sertoli cells are Leydig's cells. These cells release male sex hormones. Under the effect of LH ( Luteinizing Hormone), these cells release androgen and testosterone.
  • Testis is the primary male sex organ involved in the process of copulation.
