Solution: A solution is a homogenous mixture of two or more substances. Example - sugar solution.

Suspension: A suspension is a solution in which the solute particles suspend at the bottom of the solution after being left untouched for some time. Example - mud in the water.

Colloid: A colloid is a solution in which the size of the solute particles is intermediate to that of a true solution and suspension. Example - milk.
