When an aqueous solution of sodium chloride is mixed with an aqueous solution of silver nitrate-
  • It is observed that, on mixing aqueous solutions of sodium chloride and silver nitrate, a white solid precipitate of silver chloride will be obtained along with sodium nitrate solution.
  • Sodium chloride + silver nitrate → silver chloride + sodium nitrate (white ppt)
