$x y = 5 \times 24 = 3 \times 40 = 120 = k$

$\Rightarrow x$ is inversely proportional to $y$ . [because product is constant]

$\Rightarrow 5 \times 24 = 10 a = 3 \times 40 = 8 b = 20 c = 15 d = 120$

$\Rightarrow c = \frac{120}{20} = 6$

$\Rightarrow d = \frac{120}{15} = 8$

$\Rightarrow d - c = 8 - 6 = 2$
