X and Y are 26 and 18 respectively


Let at mass of X and Y be a and b respectively

Therefore, Molecular mass of X2Y3 = 2a + 3b

And Molecular mass of XY2 = a + 2b

Therefore, (2a + 3b) x 0.15 = 15.9

And (a + 2b) x 0.15 = 9.3

So, a and b is equal to 26 and 18 i.e atomic mass of X and Y are 26 and 18 respectively.
