Solution

The correct option is A SO23,SO2
Sulphite gives SO2 with H2SO4 which turns acidified K2Cr2O7 green according to following reaction:
K2Cr2O7+H2SO4+3SO2K2SO4+Cr2(SO4)3(green)+H2O.
H2S also gives green coloured solution with acidified K2Cr2O7 solution but a slightly coloured precipitate of sulphur is also obtained. The H2S gas has rotten egg smell.
