As you would have understood by now, ray diagrams hold most answers in this chapter. So, let us draw the extreme rays and compare fields of view of a plane, concave and convex mirror.(flashback; field of view = region where the image is visible).

As you can see clearly, the concave mirror has a smaller field of view, whereas convex larger than the plane mirror. (all having the same aperture, or length exposed to light).
