Solution

The correct option is C 'X' is a Pir and 'Y' is a Murid
Sufism came to the Indian subcontinent around the 11th century from Central Asia and settled in different parts of India. Sufi saints believed that one who really loves the God will be close to God as well as the people around him. A Sufi saint, known as Pir or Shaikh, directed the path towards reaching closer to God. The Pir or Shaikh lived in their Khanqah. A Khanqah was a centre of socio-cultural activities of the Sufis. And their disciples or followers were known as Murid.
