Solution

The correct option is D Anti-Arrack Movement
Liquor contractors in Andhra Pradesh were a powerful entity with significant resources and political patronage. With the revenues generated from the sale of arrack (low-cost local liquor), they could bribe the police excise officials and dismantle any agitation against them. However, through mass-literacy campaigns in Andhra Pradesh, women came together and found a common problem: alcoholism. Together, they took a stand against all those who sold cheap liquor and ruined the lives of their families. They demanded a complete ban on arrack. This movement came to be known as the Anti-Arrack Movement.
