The correct option is C Tailor and Cook
Given:
X,sits opposite to cook => X is not the cook
P sits opposite to Z => P and Z are also not the cooks => Y is the cook and he sits opposite to X.
Using this we can have two cases of seating arrangements i.e Y-X or X-Y.Applying the remaining 2 conditions (The washerman is on the left of the tailor and P sits opposite Z) we get the 2 cases of seating arrangements as shown in the figure.
Therefore, from both the cases we can conclude that trades o X & Y are Tailor and Cook.
