Given,
$y = 3 x^{2} - log x - cos x$
Now differentiating both sides with respect to $x$ we get,
$\frac{d y}{d x} = 6 x - \frac{1}{x} + sin x$
Now again differentiating both sides with respect to $x$ we get,
$\frac{d^{2} y}{d x^{2}} = 6 + \frac{1}{x^{2}} + cos x$ .
