The reaction between sodium Chromate and Sulphuric acid is given as:

2Na2CrO4+H2SO4Na2Cr2O7+H2O+Na2SO4

CrO24 (chromate ion) is yellow in colour. When it is acidified by H+ in
Cr2O27 (dichromate ion), the colour changes to orange. Hence option (a) is correct.
