  2. These are called primary colours because these colours cannot be formed by the combination of other colours.
  3. All colours can be obtained by the combination of primary colours.
  4. When any two primary colours are mixed, secondary colours are obtained.
  5. When red and green colours are mixed a yellow colour is obtained.
  6. When red and blue colours are mixed a magenta colour is obtained.
  7. When blue and green colours are mixed a cyan colour is obtained.
  8. Yellow, magenta and cyan colours are known as secondary colours.

Hence, Yellow, magenta, and cyan are three secondary colours.
