Let one part $=x$

$\therefore$ Other part $=40000-x$

For Part $1$

$r=10\%,P=x$

$T=t$ (Let)

$\therefore S.I=\frac{PRT}{100}=\frac{x\times 10\times t}{100}=\frac{xt}{10}$

For Part $2$

$P=(40000-x)R=6\%T=t\therefore S.I=\frac{(40000-x)\times 6\times t}{100}=\frac{(40000-x)6t}{100}$

ATP,

$\frac{xt}{10}+\frac{(40000-x)6t}{100}=\frac{40000\times 7.5\times t}{100}\Rightarrow \frac{xt}{10}+\frac{(40000-x)6t}{100}=3000t\times 100\Rightarrow 10x+(40000-x)6=300000\Rightarrow 10x-6x+240000=300000\Rightarrow 4x=60000\Rightarrow x=15,000$

$\therefore$ Other part $=40000-x=25,000$

$\therefore$ Part $1:$ Part $2=15,000:25000$

$=3:5$
