Number of questions solved corrcectly in a maths quiz is 35
Total number of questions in a maths quiz is 50

Ratio of questions solved correctly to total questions in a maths =35:50

Let the number of questions be X in the chemistry quiz

As the accuracy remains the same and 70 questions are done correctly in the chemistry quiz. The number of questions done correctly are more than the maths quiz, total number of questions will also be more than the maths quiz. Hence, the data is about the direct variation.

35:50::70:x
3550=70x

By cross-multiplication, we get

35×x=70×50
x=70×5035
x= 2×50
x=100
