Let cousin's age be $= x$
According to given condition in question:
Your age $= x + 5$
Now when my age is $12$ years, then ;
$\Rightarrow 12 = x + 5$
$\Rightarrow x = 12 - 5$ [ Subtract $5$ from both sides ]
$∴ x = 7$ years
Hence, when you are $12$ years old then cousin's age is $7$ years .
