Making an electromagnet:

1. Take the insulated copper wire and wrap it around the iron nail.​

2. Then, connect the free ends of the wire to the torch cell. Now, electric current started flowing through the coil.​

3. Bring some iron pins close to the iron nail.​

4. We will observe that the iron pins get attracted towards the nail, showing that the nail has turned into an electromagnet.​
