(i). Angiosperms can be recognised on the basis of:
(a) presence of flowers
(b) Well differentiated roots, stem and leaves.
(ii) Moss can be recognised on the basis of:
(a) presence of rhizoids (root like structures), with slender axes on which small leaves are spirally arranged.
(b) The leafy structure bearing sporophyte with a capsule that contains spores.
(iii) Algae can be recognised by their thallus like structure i.e absence of roots, stem and leaves.
