Given:
fo=1.5 cm
fe=4 cm
m=50

We know that, in normal adjustment, the final image is formed at infinity.

So, |ue|=|fe|

Now, magnifying power,

m=vo|uo|(Dfe)

m=Lfo(Dfe)

50=L1.5(254)

L=12 cm

Hence, option (B) is the correct answer.
