500 ml of 2 N HCl :
Molarity =2 M
No of moles =2×0.5=1 mole

500ml of 5N HCl :
Molarity =5 M
No of moles =5×0.5=2.5 moles

Total moles =3.5 moles

Total volume =500+500=1000 ml=1 L

Normality = 3.51=3.5N
