The ignition temperature is also known as ignition point. Ignition temperature of a fuel can be defined as the minimum temperature to which a fuel must be heated so that it may catch fire and start burning.

When we bring a candle near to Petrol it will catch fire instantly because the ignition point is low, so it is highly inflammable.

When we bring a candle near to milk or mustard oil it will not catch fire because it has a very high ignition temperature. So, they will not catch fire instantly.
