You are shown a permanent slide with thin-walled isodiametric cells with a large vacuole. Identify the type of cells.
Parenchyma cells
The presence of a large vacuole clearly indicates that the permanent slide consists of plant cells. These plants cells are isodiametric. 'Iso' means same and the diameter refers to the dimensions of the cell. Hence, isodiametric cells are the ones with a relatively equal diameter in all planes. i.e. roughly circular or polyhedral. Parenchyma cells have thin walls and are usually described as isodiametric. Therefore, the slide consists of parenchyma cells.
