You have 3 opaque strips with very small holes of different shapes as shown in Fig. If you obtain an image of the sun on a wall through these holes, will the image formed by these holes be the same or different?

A small circular image of the sun will be obtained in all the three cases irrespective of the shape of the hole because the holes will act as a pinhole camera. A pinhole camera is a special kind of camera having a pinhole-sized opening to focus all light rays within the smallest possible area to obtain an image, as clearly as possible.
