The high yields in the future can be ensured by doing micropropagation. It is a tissue culture method which will produce plants that are genetically identical to the original plant. Since we are making the plants from the tissue of the original high yielding plants, they will essentially be the somaclones, hence, the yield will remain the same even after generations.
