Solution

The correct option is A Apples: 3, Oranges: 2
6 apples and 4 oranges need to be distributed equally so that each bucket has the same number of apples and same number of oranges.

For minimum number of apples and oranges in each basket, we need to find maximum number of baskets.

Therefore, the number of baskets will be H.C.F of 6 and 4, which is equal to 2

If two fruit buckets are made with 3 apples and 2 oranges, each of the above conditions is satisfied.

6 apples = 2 × 3 apples
4 oranges = 2 × 2 oranges

Adding both the quantitiy,

6 apples + 4 oranges= 2 × 3 apples + 2 × 2 oranges

Total number of fruit = 2 × (3 apples + 2 oranges)

If two buckets are required, each bucket will have 3 apples and 2 oranges.
