It is known that, abc=a+bc.

Put the value of a=4,b=2,c=5 in the above formula:

425=4+25=4+0.4=4.4

Step-2: Find the amount of beeswax in the lip balm:

Since 11% of lip balm is made of beeswax.

The amount of beeswax in lip balm can be calculated as,

4.4×11%=4.4×11100=4.4×0.11=0.4840.5

Hence, 0.5teaspoons of beeswax are required.
