Pneumonia is a bacterial disease which infects the alveoli of the lungs. The following precautions can be taken to prevent the spread of the infection:

1. The infected person shoud wear a mask so that aerosol released by the infected person while coughing is not spread to other students.
2. Do not share spoons and water bottles with the infected person which may contain sputum of the infected perosn.
