Zygospore is a thick-walled, diploid reproductive stage in the life cycle of many fungi and protists, created by the nuclear fusion of haploid cells. They are non-motile. Zoospores are flagellated, motile asexual spore (haploid) found in some bacteria, fungi and protists. Zoospores lack true cell wall.
