8(2x-5)-6(3x-7)=1

Open in App
Solution

8(2x-5)-6(3x-7)=1( Open the bracket and solve it further )

8×2x-8×5-6×3x+6×7=1

16x-40-18x+42=1

16x-18x=1-42+42( Bring constant terms from the left side to the right side and while doing so the sign of the respective terms gets change )

-2x=-1( solve the right and left parts separately )

x=-1-2( Bring -2from left side to right side and while doing so division gets changed to multiplication and solve further )

x=12

Hence, the value of x=12
