A cuboidal vessel is 10m long and 8m wide. How high must it be made to hold 380 cubic metres of a liquid?

Length of the cuboidal vessel, l = 10 m

Width of cuboidal vessel, b = 8m

Volume of cuboidal vessel, V = 380 m3

Find out

We have to find out the height of the cuboidal vessel

Solution

Let height be h,

The volume of the vessel = 380m³

We know that Formula for volume of cuboid = l×b×h

10×8×h = 380

80 x h = 380

h = 4.75m

Answer

Therefore, the height of the vessel is 4.75m
