Cost price of 3 toffees =1

Profit percentage =50%

Cost price of 1 toffee =13

Selling price of 1 toffee =(1+50100)×13

=150100×13=12

Number of toffees sold for 1 rupee =112

=2

So for 1 rupee, he can sell 2 toffees.

Hence option (a) is the answer.
