Solution
Fastening movement of the cart pushed by a man down the slope:
While moving down the slope, a part of the force of gravity will act along the slope on the cart and will make it accelerate.
Additionally, the man was already pushing it from behind.
So, a combination of two forces will make it move faster.
What should the man do to slow it down:
He can start dragging the cart instead of pushing it to resist gravity’s downward force.
Or in another way, he can travel the other way by moving very quickly in the direction of motion and attempting to slow down the cart’s speed by applying an opposing force on it.
Hence, by the mentioned ways the man can slow down the fast-moving cart.
