A pie has to be divided amongst a few kids. Puneet gets 27th portion of the pie and Sheela gets 58thportion of the pie. Who amongst the two gets a lesser share?

The portion of the pie Puneet gets =27

The portion of the pie Sheela gets =58

To find who gets a lesser share we have to compare 27 and 58

These are unlike fractions. We have to convert them to like fractions and then compare.

LCM of 7,8=56

27=2×87×8=1656

58=5×88×8=4064

16<401640<4064

Hence, Puneet gets the lesser share.
