An average daily wage of 10 workers in a factory 'A' is Rs. 30 and an average daily wage of 20 workers in a factory 'B' is Rs. 15. Find the average daily wages of all workers of both the factories.

Find the average daily wages of all workers of both the factories.

Given:

n1=10,x1¯=30,n2=20,x2¯=15,

Apply: x12¯=n1x1¯+n2x2¯n1+n2

Therefore the average daily wages of all workers:

10×30+20×1510+20=300+30030=60030=20

Hence the average daily wages of all workers is 20.
