Reason for the things to be in constant motion:

1. If we see with respect to earth then not all things are not in constant motion.
2. But our earth itself is not stationary, it revolves around the sun.
3. This means we all are revolving around the sun with the same velocity as that of the earth.

Hence all the things on the earth are in constant motion but not with respect to the earth.
