  1. Atomicity refers to the total number of atoms in a molecule.
  2. Phosphorus is a chemical element with the atomic number 15 and is represented by letter P.
  3. White phosphorus and red phosphorus are the two major forms of phosphorus, however, because of their strong reactivity, neither one is ever found on earth as a free product.
  4. It exists in P4 form i.e. the number of atoms in a phosphorus molecule is 4, hence the atomicity of phosphorous is 4.
