Solution

Fracture diagnosis:

  1. Due to fracture, one would experience extreme pain, swelling in the particular region (which was the ankle for Boojho) and will find it difficult to move or even stand if the impact is higher.
  2. The doctor, examining the symptoms suspected that there is a fracture but he took the help of a medical procedure, called X-ray to confirm the location and extent of the damage.
  3. X rays are radiations that originated due to the emission of electrons.
  4. Bone x-ray uses a very small dose of ionizing radiation to produce pictures of any bone in the body.
  5. They are usually absorbed by the bones but in the part where there is a crack or breakage, the rays directly pass through a black line or gap.
  6. On placing Boojho's ankle under an X-ray beam, his fracture in the ankle was detected efficiently and accurately and treatments were done accordingly.
