The inflammable substances are the substances that easily catch fire. They are substances, which have very low ignition temperature and when exposed to air, they catch fire easily. The substances which have very low ignition temperature and can easily catch fire with a flame are called inflammable substances. Examples of inflammable substances are petrol, alcohol, Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG), etc. The ignition temperature in different substances decides the quickness of catching fire.
