H2CO3 is commonly referred to as carbonic acid. Will see the reaction of carbonic acids with metals

Metals: Carbonic acids do not react with metals. This is because carbonic acid is a weak acid. It forms two salts carbonates and bicarbonates with acids.

Example: 2NaOH+CO2→ Na2CO3+H2O
