Post-fertilization events are:

1. The sepals, usually green in color, get dried and fall off from the flower.
2. The Petals, the colored part of the flower, also get dried and fall off the flower.
3. The style and the stigma also get dried and shed off from the ovary.
4. The embryo and polar nuclei start dividing rapidly to produce a young embryo attached to the endosperm. It is an intermediate type of endosperm formation between cellular and nuclear type endosperm formation.
