Do All Organisms Need Water?

Yes, all living organisms need water to sustain life, grow and thrive.

The constituency of the body is nearly 70% of water and is the most important medium through which the cell’s biochemical activity takes place. Plants are the producers. They need water to carry out the process of photosynthesis. Animals need water to carry out the basic cell activities. Some animals keep themselves regularly hydrated to digest food and produce body fluids due to their habitats, while some others are adapted to less water consumption. The aquatic entities thrive in water as they depend on the dissolved oxygen.
