Question

Draw an angle of 110° with the help of a protractor and bisect it. Measure each angle.

Open in App
Solution

Step 1 Draw an angle ABC =110° with the help of protractor

Step 2 Draw the bisectors of ABC

Considering B as a centre and a convenient radius, draw an arc to intersect the rays BA at P and BC at Q respectively.

Considering centre P and a radius greater than half of PQ, draw an arc. and Considering centre Q and the same radius (as in step 2), draw another arc to cut the previous arc

Draw ray BR.

The ray BR is the required bisectors of ABC.

Step 3 find the value of ABD

ABD=CBD=55°

ABD=CBD=1/2ABC=1/2X110°=55°

Therefore, an angle of 110° with the help of a protractor is drawn and bisector the angle is drawn
